Andre Amoor

Andre is an integrative leadership coach/consultant who values redefining what leadership is and looks like.  For more than 10 years, Andre's life was defined by living in various countries and exploring different approaches to interculturalism, leadership, and organizational development.  Settling down now in Denver, Colorado, Andre supports and empowers aspiring and new leaders to step into leadership with integrative awareness (mental, emotional, physical, spiritual and intercultural).

Andre spends most of his leisure exploring and testing the outdoors with his wife, LaTisha, and 2 daughters Hero and Brave.

Q: What's your favorite book? 

A: 100 Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez and A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry

Q: What are your favorite self-care practices?

A: Escaping the city and going snowboarding once or twice a week during the season (Fall/Winter)

Escaping city life and taking outdoor wilderness courses with Colorado Mountain Club (Spring/Summer)

Q: What's your favorite place to travel and why? I have a deep love for the water and mountains. If you put them together, I am in heaven. 

A: In lieu of traveling, I've lived in a few places: Nanchang, China for 5 years, Kurdistan, Iraq for a year, Sidoarjo, Indonesia for 2 years, Seongnam, South Korea for 2 years, Singapore for a year, Madrid, Spain for a couple of years and Grand Forks, North Dakota for 2 years.  They were all favorites while I was there and I'd go back to any one of those places tomorrow if I really wanted to.
